Decoupage Ghosts

Step 1

Roll a ball of Crayola Air-Dry Clay and place on top of a container. We used a 2-oz washable paint bottle. 

Step 2

Flatten out another ball of Crayola Air-Dry clay then cut it into a circle large enough to cover the clay ball and drape downwards.

Step 3

Cover the ball with the flattened clay, letting it drape over the sides. Shape gentle pleats and folds to resemble a flowing sheet, smoothing out any cracks as you work. If needed, use a paintbrush dipped in water to make the clay more pliable and easier to shape. Allow to dry for at least 24 hours. For maximum strength allow 72 hours.

Step 4

Carefully separate a fall-themed napkin into layers, then cut out the desired designs. Use the cutouts to decoupage and decorate your dried ghost.

Step 5

Brush a thin layer of glossy sealant onto your Air-Dry Clay Ghost.

Step 6

Step 7

Brush another thin layer sealant over the paper cutouts securing them in place. Allow to dry completely before displaying your decorated ghost.
