Steps

  • Step 1

Fold yellow Crayola Construction Paper in half. Draw two lines from the corners of the folded edge to a connecting point, 1/3 from the top, on the opposite edge. Cut along lines.

  • Step 2

On the front, color your design using Crayola Silly Scents Smashups Markers.

  • Step 3

Turn the kite around and lay a 1/4 inch dowel on top and measure the widest part of the kite. Mark the width on the dowel and carefully cut it to size with scissors.

  • Step 4

Align the short dowel to the widest part of the kite. Align an uncut dowel to the top and bottom of the kite.

  • Step 5

Align the middle of a 4ft string to where the dowels cross, then tie both dowels together. Tape the dowel cross to the construction paper.

  • Step 6

Cut out a Triangle on Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple Crayola Construction Paper.

  • Step 7

Tape triangles to tail string and fly your kite!
